Starbase 22 was a Starfleet space station in theKaleb Sector. An older starbase, it was much smaller than those in use by the 24th century.

By 2371 it was commanded by Captain Jorak.

That same year its location as the nearest facility to the Psellius System had Starfleet Command to designate it as the supply and support facility for Starfleet forces headed to the system. During the Battle of Psellus, the cruiser Addams was stationed at the starbase in case of defeat by the Romulans. ("Armistice Part II")
